And He (is) the One Who (has) released the two seas [this] (one) palatable and sweet and [this] (one) salty (and) bitter, and He has made between them a barrier and a partition forbidden.
AND HE it is who has given freedom of movement to the two great bodies of water – the one sweet and thirst-allaying, and the other salty and bitter - and yet has wrought between them a barrier and a forbidding ban

And it is He Who let forth the two seas—this, agreeable and water of the sweetest kind and this, salty, bitter. He made between the two that which was unapproachable, a banned barrier.
He is the One Who has cut off both seas, this one being sweet, fresh, while the other is salty, briny. He has placed an isthmus in between them plus a barrier to block them off.
And it is He Who has let the 2 seas merge, one palatable and sweet, and the other salt and bitter; and He has set a barrier and a suppressed partition between them.
And He it is Who mixed the two seas, one sweet, satisfying, the other salty, bitter, and set between them a divide and a barrier, forbidden
And He it is Who has meraja (merged) two seas, this palatable (and) sweet, and this salty (and) bitter; and He has set inbetween those two a barrier, and an obstruction, made completely obstructive (in allowing any intermixing of the two waters)
He is the One Who has made the two seas rolling, the one sweet and fresh, the other salt and bitter, and set a rampart between them, an insurmountable barrier
And it is He who merged the two seas; this one fresh and sweet, and that one salty and bitter; and He placed between them a barrier, and an impassable boundary
And He is the One Who has merged the two seas, this one sweet, grateful (to taste), and this salt, bitter (to the tongue); and He has made between them an isthmus, and an utter- obstruction. (Literally: obstruction obstructed
It is He who has joined the two seas; one palatable and sweet, the other bitterly salty and has established a barrier between them as a partition
He is the One who joined the two seas, so as this is sweet, very sweet, and this is bitter, very bitter, and made between them a buffer and an insurmountable barrier

And it is He Who caused to flow two seas together, this one is sweet, very palatable and this one is saltiest, bitter in taste, and placed a barrier in between them and a forbidden ban.
He is the One who merges the two seas; one is fresh and palatable, while the other is salty and undrinkable. And He separated them with a formidable, inviolable barrier (evaporation).

And it is He Who caused the two joint seas to flow- one is palatable, very sweet, and the other is salty, very bitter; and kept a veil between them and a preventing barrier
And HE it is Who has caused the two seas to flow, this palatable and sweet, and that salt and bitter; and between them HE has placed a barrier and an insurmountable partition
And He is the One Who joined two rivers, this (one) very sweet and freshening and that (other one) very salty and bitter. And He set a barrier and a strong partition between them
It is He Who has let the two spans of water loose to flow, one of them (- a river) sweet and thirst-quenching while the other (a sea) saltish (and) bitter, and He has set a barrier and an insurmountable partition between them; (still both exist side by side in the world and would continue)
And it is He Who has let free the two seas (kinds of water), one palatable and sweet, and the other salt and bitter, and He has set a barrier and a complete partition between them
And it is He who let forth the two seas, this one Sweet, grateful to taste, and this salt, bitter to the tongue, and He set between them a barrier, and a ban forbidden

It is HU... Who releases the two bodies of water (universal and individual consciousness – the body): one sweet (the original self) and the other salty and bitter (the ego identity assuming it is the body)! And formed a barrier of enmity (opposition) between them (remember the verse ‘descend as enemies to one another’)!
And He it is Who had made the two seas join and flow together, one palatable and sweet, and the other salt and bitter; and between the two He has made a barrier and inviolable obstruction
And He is it Who sent the waters of the two seas flowing together, one fresh and sweet and the other salty and bitter and between both He installed an invisible partition which serves as an impassable barrier (the fresh water floats above the salty and there are laws that govern the separation and the depth)
So do not obey the infidels and strive against them with it ( the Quran), a great striving.
It is He Who has let free the two bodies of flowing water: One palatable and sweet, and the other salt and bitter; yet has He made a barrier between them, a partition that is forbidden to be passed
